Ted Ernst Vintage Bikes @ VR7

All of the bikes are assembled but not fully overhauled, cleaned, or tuned to ride.
The wood rims are prewar and at least 67 years old and I would save them for show and get something newer and safer for riding. Old rims tend to get splits, warps, could delaminate, and care has to be taken on spoke tension.
I know most of you enjoy doing your own restoration work to the degree you deem proper, so I leave that part to you.
The Prices charged reflected mostly my costs in collecting these examples and the parts needed to complete them.
There are over 20 bikes in the display only about five have alloy rims, the rest are wood rims with original patina and weathering. 
Purchasers of these bikes assumed the responsibility of determining the rideability and reliability of any of the bikes purchased.

The components and frames range in time from the 1900's into the 1970's.
Many came out to take a look at cycling history through the decades.
 It was a day to let your mind wander as the nostalgic images of cycling's halcyon days carry you over the horizen down memory lane on inch pitch chains, wood rims, fixed gears, and steel frames.
