1984 Team 7-11 Murray by Serotta

The all red Team 7-11 bike. The folks at Serotta researched the serial number and photographs and placed it in the time frame of the '84 U.S. Olympic team bikes. They believe it may have been one of the back up bikes for the U.S. team at the Olympics.

This bike has serial number 83122 stamped on the Cinelli bottom bracket. The seat tube is 54 c-c and the top tube is 55 c-c. It is all Super Record, except for Dia Compe brake levers, and has Wolber rims, Cinelli Criterium bars and a Concor saddle (all as original on the team bikes).

I sold the bike in 2008 to John Waner. It will make a wonderful addition to his great collection.
