Letourner's Land Speed Record

Alf Letourner behind his pace car. On May 18th, 1941, in Bakersfield, CA, Letourner set a bicycle speed record, hitting 108.92 mph. Interesting source for this picture - "Le Miroir des Sport", new series No.11, 16 June 1941.
