The Wave

Race leader Giuseppe Saronni (Ita) was a bit too confident of winning the 2nd stage of the 1982 Tour de Suisse, so Swiss 6-Day star Urs Freuler reminds him not to salute victory too early. Saronni would go on to win the 10-stage race from Theo De Rooy (Ned) and Guido Van Calster (Bel). From "International Cycle Sport" No.171, August 1982.
