Stage 3, 1955 TdF. On the roads between Roubaix and Namur, Nello Lauredi was chasing a Louison Bobet, but he fell twice on the cobbles, struck his head, and left a large gash in his scalp. Note the Universal "Extra" calipers MAFAC levers (or are they?), Reynolds decal on the fork blade, and brake housings taped together and in front of the bars!
