Anchor Keirin bike. Yes, Mabel, it's all NJS. NJS stands for Nihon Jitensha Shinkokai; governing body for all steel that rolls under the keen eyes of Keirin bettors.

This is a Shimano Dura-Ace chainset. Clean lines and imminently functional...although I just noticed the klugy chain link screw. I promise, I didn't install this! This bike sees occasional duty at Hellyer Velodrome in San Jose.

Anchor is Bridgestone's Japanese brand. Whether this bike saw duty on the Keirin circuit is questionable as the condition of the frame is above average.

The coolest feature of this bike is the Columbus EL Keirin tubeset. I have never seen another like it. Usually these machines are built of Ishiwata tubing.
