The members of the [[Olympic Club Wheelmen]] are devising means to revive interest in cycling club runs, and to that end have appointed a special committee to confer with Captain [[Hadenfeldt]].

The committee consists of [[T. G. Spillane]], [[J. H. Nash]], [[Frank W. Fuller]] and [[W. C. Corbett]], and the first move will be to schedule the proposed runs at least thirty days in advance, this keeping the members informed of desirable outing trips. Captain H. D. Hadenfeldt was re-elected Captain for the ensuing term, in accordance with the custom by which the road officers are chosen every six months. He will reappoint Lieutenants Spillane and Nash.

The four days' tour through [[Lake county]], taken by members of the [[Cycle Board of Trade]], under the leadership of President [[J. S. Conwell]], proved one of the most interesting cycling trips of the season. The party took the train to [[Ukiah]] and worked their way to the Southward by easy stages. The principal point through which their journey led them after leaving Ukiah were: [[Laurel Dell]] on [[Blue Lakes]], [[Lakeport]], [[Lower Lake]], [[Middletown]]; thence over [[Mount St. Helena]] to [[Calistoga]], the [[wheel]] trip finally ending at [[St. Helena]]. Incidents of the trip were a twentyfive-mile ride in a launch on one of the lakes and several side trips in four-in-hand coaches. The wits of the party - [[R. C. Lennie]] and [[W. J. Kenney]] - kept everyone in high spirits. It was determined to make the outing an annual one for men in the trade, that for next year being already planned on a larger scale. The party included [[J. S. Conwell]], [[Edwin Mohrig]], [[R. C. Lennie]], [[Joseph Ostendorf]], [[W. J. Kenney]] and [[C. Christianson]]. The route taken was pronounced an ideal one for a short tour.

[[Frank W. Fuller]], [[George H. Stratton]] and [[George Fuller]] of the [[Olympic Club Wheelmen]] have returned from a fortnights' camping trip to Mendocino county. They brought back many souvenirs of their trip and have stirring tales of adventure to relate.

Captain H. D. Hadenfeldt of the Olympic Club Wheelmen and Captain [[J. S. Shedd]], [[Acme Wheelmen|Acme Club Wheelmen]], are making active preparations for the joint run of their clubs to Lake Chabot, near San Leandro, next Sunday. Dinner will be served on a barge anchored out in the lake.

The whist tournament of the [[Imperial Cycling Club]] will be inaugurated to-night under the direction of President [[T. J. Winslow]] and Secretary [[G. M. Ward]].

A local dealer received an order for a dozen wheels, to be shipped to the Society Islands in the South Seas.
