SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 10. — The [[fifty-mile relay bicycle race]] today between the [[Garden City wheelmen]] of [[San Jose]] and the team from [[Reno]], Nev., was won by the San Jose riders in 2 hours 12 minutes and 10 seconds. The race was settled in the first relay, when [[J. R. Berryessa]] of San Jose gained such a lead on [[Peckham]] of Reno as to leave little doubt as to the final outcome. Reno's time was 3 hours 14 minutes 12 seconds.
