Y. M. C. A. BICYCLE RACES.

F. C. Heineman wins the Association State Championship.

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 12. - An immense crowd attended the state bicycle meet of the Y. M. C. A. at Alameda today. Riders from all parts of the state participated. The bicycle races resulted as follows:

Y. M. C. A. state championship, one mile - Won by F. C. Heineman, San Francisco; C. F. Lemon of Oakland second; time, 2:43 3-5.

J. E. Edwards of Los Angeles won the mile maiden race.

D. B. Smith, of the Garden City club, won the half mile championship.

C. D. Bates, of the Reliance club, captured the mile championship of Oakland.

C. S. Wells, of the Bay City wheelmen, won the mile handicap.

O. B. Smith, of the Garden City's won the two-mile handicap.

Otto Zeigler, the champion of the United States, went against his record of 2:07 2 5, but the best he could do was 2:12 4 5.
