THE CYCLER'S DAY

Entries for the Great Race Meeting.

RIDERS FROM INLAND TOWNS
Wheels That Will Sing on the Alameda Bicycle and Athletic Club's Racetrack.

The Alameda Bicycle and Athletic Club will hold its annual race-meeting on its grounds in Alameda May 30. The entries for the events closed last evening with Mr. R. M. Welch, 320 Sansome street.

As will be seen by the large number of wheelmen who have entered, the pastime is spreading rapidly over the State.

Almost every town of any importance has now a cycling club. Among the riders who will journey from far inland towns to measure spokes with the "flyers" of the Alameda and San Francisco clubs will be some of the best wheelmen of the State.

"All lovers of bicycling who can attend will undoubtedly be present to see the grand finishes between the local riders and their country cousins.

The programme has been carefully arranged and what grander sport can any lover of the pastime desire than to witness a series of races between the swiftest wheelmen in the State on a track that is simply perfection in itself. Here are the entries:
